In Nabbie's Love, audiences can see the many beautiful landscapes of Okinawa and listen to Japanese folk songs and the sound of Sanshin, a traditional Japanese musical instrument.
The central figure in this heart-warming story is Nabbie, a 79 year-old woman living in a small island of Okinawa, full of music and singing. Her granddaughter Nanako returns to the island from Tokyo after quitting her job. On the boat, there is a dandy guy named SunRa, and it turns out that he is about to see Nabbie for the first time in 60 years.
